The Better Business Bureau has been contacted by numerous consumers about an offer aired by Consumer Advocate on a local radio station to receive $1000.00 in groceries.
The consumer calls a 1-800 number and is asked to give a credit card for a $4.90 charge.
The offer sounds great especially going into the Holidays.

According to the Financial Times, U.S. taxpayers could have saved $299 million , the amount UCB received in bailout funds from the Treasury Department, and the FDIC could have held onto $1.4 billion from its dwindling deposit insurance fund if Minsheng deal had been given the green light.
Instead, the FDIC chose East West Bancorp ( EWBC ) to assume UCB's 63 branches and $7.5 billion in deposits.
Though it's certainly an expensive match, it also seems to be a good one, since both companies cater to Chine

By "all three," I presume the writer means D&B (Dun & Bradstreet) plus the business credit divisions of Equifax , and Experian .
You must ask every credit card provider and vendor which agencies they report your credit history to.
Some small enterprises don't report at all because the credit reporting agencies charge businesses fees to report your information.

how stupid is CHASE Bank ? I got my statement and they upped my APR to 40.12%.. I shredded that card afap. I no longer wish to be a part of that Crime ring. They owe me a balance as of the last statement. Do I get that same interest in return or should make my own rate?
